The Noah Community Project celebrated their success with a party, open to all, on December 9th at the Oltco Head Office in Newquay. Families who have been helped by the project, with gifts for Christmas, clothes, food and homeware, mixed with those who have helped the project raise nearly £7000. The jubilant atmosphere was helped by all the amazing activities and food provided free of charge by Newquay company Gusto’s, Tillymint party tents, St Agnes Bakery and Oltco’s own staff who provided face painting, lucky dips and glitter tattoos for all the children.
“We are over the moon with the support we have received from the Newquay community this year, we have a fantastic community in which we can all be proud. Thanks to Oltco’s generous support this is the first time we have been able to hold an event like this which everyone can enjoy and such a wonderful opportunity for us to thank so many individuals and businesses who have helped us with practical and monetary donations.” explains Diane, manager of the Noah Project.
Alongside the celebrations at Oltco, Newquay Fitness Centre Cross Fit held their own event raising over £200 on the day which was donated to the project bringing total donations on the day to over £700.
The Noah Community Project supports families who are struggling in the local area throughout the year. These families are referred by Social Services and Cornwall Hub. The money raised means that the project can become a charity allowing them to receive donations from larger organisations such as supermarkets, apply for grants and develop their skills enabling Noah to help even more people.
Diane and the team would like to thank all who have made donations. These donations have made a massive difference to these families and given them a helping hand when they ave most needed it.
If you would like to make a donation or become involved in the project please contact Diane on 07503453207 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
