Overview

Oltco Blackpool installed a 222m2 Recycle Bound driveway in the colour blend Poldark with a Kernow Granite border as well as a 30m2 rubber crumb play area for Mr Darwin.

The Brief

Mr Darwin had recently built his property and was looking for a modern surface to update the driveway. He was also looking for a long lasting, practical solution that would look good for many years to come.

To update the play area at the front of his driveway he was looking for a surface which would be safe his children to play on.

Mr Darwin wanted to work with a local company to help achieve what he was looking for.

Our Solution

Our team installed our award-winning Recycle Bound solution. This solution is hard wearing, has anti-slip and porous properties and has a seamless finish, so we knew it was the perfect surface to update Mr Darwin’s driveway.

Our team also created a unique design for Mr Darwin, with the name of the property spelled out using a contrasting colour.

For the play area, our team installed our rubber crumb solution which is made using resin bound mulch and rubber crumb (from recycled tyres), the recycled rubber is soft and smooth creating a safe area, meeting Mr Darwin’s brief perfectly.

Using our Recycle Bound solution, this driveway recycled the equivalent of 666,000 plastic straws.

Oltco was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, they worked with me to find the perfect surface and colours for my play area and driveway and I am so pleased with the final product. I wanted a unique design to complement my new build property so when I found out that Oltco could create patterns with their resin, I knew that they were the company for me. I got the name of the property at the front of the driveway and it looks absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend Oltco
