Do business with people you like and who share your values. Here at Oltco, our people are our most important asset. We are so proud of our team and the individuals who are working with us to install our resin driveways, paths and patios up and down the country.
Across the country we have 10 awesome franchises and today we are introducing you to the man behind Oltco Plymouth, Ben Ure.
Ben is possibly the nicest man you could ever have the pleasure of meeting - you’ll know what we mean when you meet him!
But in the meantime, read on to find out more about how Ben joined the Oltco family.
What is your favourite part about your Oltco role?
My favourite part about being a part of the Oltco team is the opportunity to meet and get to know so many interesting individuals - be it customers or new team members.
It’s also extremely satisfying to see the transformation of a customer’s property through the installations we carry out. Seeing the end result is extremely rewarding and gives me a real buzz.
Some of Oltco’s range is named after beaches in Cornwall, where is your favourite beach?
Now that’s a tough question…I haven’t come across a beach in the South West that I don’t like - they are all amazing!
But if I had to pick, it would have to be Saunton Sands. It’s a stunning beach and my cocker spaniel Alfie loves it.
Describe yourself in three words?
Happy little fella.
What is your party trick or hidden talent?
I play the guitar, but I’m not sure if that counts as hidden.
What is your greatest achievement?
The South West has held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember.
My wife Nichola and I moved here with our dog Alfie from the East coast in 2018 and it was the best decision we ever made.
My biggest achievement has to be creating a happy and successful life with my wonderful wife and our dog here in the West Country. Great beaches, great surf and great people - what’s not to love?
Your franchise covers Plymouth, what is your favourite thing about the area?
Plymouth is an awesome City. I really enjoy walking along The Hoe and taking in the panoramic views. The Barbican also has a whole host of awesome coffee shops so I love wandering down there to grab a flat white or Americano.
