Recently you got to know Roger Hardaker from Lancaster (if you missed it, you can have a read here) and today, it’s time to get to know Liam Dorian from Colchester.
Most days, Liam can be found installing Oltco’s resin bound driveways across Essex, but what is Liam like when he’s not working?
Read on to find out more about the man behind Oltco Colchester…
What is your favourite part about your Oltco role?
I love the freedom that having an Oltco franchise offers me as well as the satisfaction of reviving a drive and totally transforming it.
I’ve always loved working outdoors so to be able to do that every day is great (I’m not sure I’ll be saying that in the winter!) and I really love working with the customers to go through the process step by step so that they get exactly what they want.
Some of Oltco’s range is named after beaches in Cornwall, where is your favourite beach?
I’ve been to loads of amazing beaches around the world but my favourite has to be Mersea Island. Growing up I spent loads of my time there with friends so I have brilliant memories of the beach.
Describe yourself in three words?
Energetic, Motivated, Helpful
What is your party trick or hidden talent?
When I start dancing, my legs seem to turn to spaghetti…
What is your greatest achievement?
Completing the London Marathon in 2017 without any training…probably not my best idea.
Your franchise covers Colchester, what is your favourite thing about the area?
With Colchester being the oldest recorded town, my answer should probably be something about the town’s history but the truth is, my favourite thing is the food (I didn’t get my nickname Chunk for nothing!) The range of restaurants in and around Colchester are my favourite thing…especially the North Hill Noodle Bar!
