2019 has been an exciting year for Oltco. We’ve launched our world-first product, Recycle Bound. We’ve won awards. We’ve expanded across the country. Not to forget, we’ve celebrated 15 years of installing resin driveways and surfaces.
As part of our 15th anniversary, we have been spreading happiness through our Random Acts of Kindness campaign and have already completed six random acts of kindness. To find out more about the campaign and what we’ve been up to, click here
For our sixth random act of kindness, we donated £100 to Newquay Community Hospital towards some plants to brighten up the inpatient sensory garden.
After our Director, John Pearce, came across a Facebook post asking for funds to go towards the plants, the Oltco team knew that this was something that we all wanted to support. We are passionate about transforming spaces as well as giving back to our local community so the opportunity to combine the two and help create a new space that patients could enjoy was the perfect fit for Oltco.
We spoke to Diane from our Oltco Head Office who went along to present the £100 to the hospital, who responded with: “I am really proud and pleased to be a part of the random acts of kindness campaign and to be donating to such a worthy cause. We hope that our donation towards the plants helps to cheer the patients up.”
Newquay Community Hospital was thrilled with the generosity and we received the following message: “Dear Oltco, I am writing to you on behalf of all the staff, patients and visitors at Newquay Community Hospital, who would like to thank you and your team for the very generous donation towards our new inpatient sensory garden. Thank you once again, it is very much appreciated.”
