Introducing Recycle Base

Developed by and exclusive to Oltco, Recycle Base, is a ground reinforcement system which utilises stone and low grade plastic, including waste ocean plastic. Low grade plastic is difficult to recycle and is often incinerated, releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. Using this plastic in Recycle Base ensures that it can be recycled to prevent further CO2 emissions.

Alongside Recycle Bound, we wanted to continue creating innovative, high-quality and environmentally conscious products to safeguard the planet whilst also providing sustainable solutions for outdoor spaces.

Why Use Recycle Base?

Recycle Base has been thoroughly tried and tested by our team of experts. The grid is made using 100% recycled plastic and has a load bearing capability of up to 800 tonnes per square metre.

An average 70m2 driveway using Recycle Base could offset a tonne of CO2, or the equivalent of planting six trees.

Once installed, Oltco’s resin bound and Recycle Bound solutions can then be laid on top. With its hard-wearing and durable properties, Recycle Base is the ideal base product for both commercial and domestic driveways, patios, pathways, balconies and pool surrounds.

What are the Benefits of Oltco's Recycle Base?

Like our resin bound solutions, Recycle Base comes with a 20 year guarantee and can be recycled at the end of its useful life. The top resin bound or Recycle Bound layer can be broken away from the base and then reused into a new Recycle Base ground reinforcement system.
