Enquiry
Once you’ve contacted our team at HQ, a member of staff will ask you a series of questions related to your project and they will then qualify you over the phone.

Site Visit
If you are happy with the estimate given by the team, we will send your details to your closest franchise where they will get in touch to arrange a free visit.

Installation
After your deposit invoice has been paid, your franchise team will book in your installation. If groundworks are required this will also be booked at the same time.

Aftercare
Once your installation has been completed and the final invoice paid, HQ will send out an aftercare pack with your maintenance instructions and warranty document.

The price of a resin bound driveway will always be dependent on the location and size of your driveway. However, our prices start at:
20m2 driveway: £70 - £100 per square metre.
50m2 driveway: £80 – £95 per square metre.
100m2 driveway: £70 - £90 per square metre.

A resin bound driveway provides a low maintenance solution for homeowners. No heavy maintenance is required but you will need to regularly clean your driveway to prevent any issues that could lead to repairs being required.
Regularly sweeping your driveway with a stiff outdoor brush will be enough to remove any unwanted debris and prevent moss growth. If you notice any hard to remove dirt or stains on your driveway it can easily be removed with jet washing.
You need to be cautious with jet washing resin as being too rough could lead to damage compromising the integrity of your driveway. We recommend only using a jet wash system with a maximum pressure of less than 150bar.
Sweep your driveway thoroughly before jet washing to remove loose debris.
The water temperature should be mild. (Water that is too hot or too cold could damage your driveway.)
Hold the nozzle of the jet wash at least 20cm away from the driveway when spraying.
Spray your driveway in sweeping motion to avoid prolonged pressure in one area.
If you’re planning to use a detergent on your driveway, you must ensure it’s suitable for resin surfaces and always test on a small inconspicuous area.

Preparation: Our team starts by assessing your existing driveway, depending on its condition we may require excavation. We then prepare the ground by creating a stable and porous sub-base that will become the foundation of your resin driveway. The base is created by using 175mm of compact hardcore followed by 60-70mm of a permeable concrete or tarmac depending on your requirements.
Innovative grid system: In some circumstances, we may place our innovative system on top of that sub-base. The grid provides stability and enhances the drainage of your driveway.
Infilling with customised gravel: The grid is then infilled with gravel, this is the pivotal step in creating a porous surface for rainwater to drain through. This layer prevents puddles and encourages sustainable drainage.
The resin: Oltco’s skilled professionals will then hand trowel the resin bound mixture on top of the gravel layer for a smooth and even finish. This is done with great precision and expertise in order to achieve perfect results.
